Intensive Oil Painting weekends
These courses aim to give an opportunity to learn all the rudiments of oil painting technique in one weekend.
As a result the course is very intensive, but extremely rewarding, and the results constantly amaze.
Everything is covered, from the absolute basics of how to get started and set up, laying out you paints to taking care of your palette and brushes.
Students learn how to underpaint, build up layers and construct their painting using traditional methods.
Eventually, they will learn how to use a palette knife, glazing techniques and finish their works.
Composition, colour theory and all painting techniques are all examined and broken down to their most simplist.
In short, you will know how how to paint by monday morning!

Beginners work at the end of one weekend
The course runs from Saturday morning at 9.30am through to 7.30pm each day, with a healthy amount of time for lunch and mini breaks throughout.
On Sunday evening there is small exhibtion of all the work made, where family and friends are warmly invited to come and drink cava and soup (made from the still life!) and give their thoughts.
